From a Pennsylvanian town with an estimated 1,400 people to the second largest metropolitan area in the United States, my unique background allows me to provide one-of-a-kind insight. For example, I can tell you which gas stations will have good food and which ones to steer clear of.
From 2019-2023, I studied film production and theatre at Penn State University (insert obligatory "we are"). During my time there, I was active in clubs, participated in numerous internships, and ordered Death By Chocolate ice-cream from the Berkey Creamery more times than I care to admit. I also worked on a few short films both in front of and behind the camera, and can hold my own in an intense game of Zip Zap Zop. A month after graduation, I moved across the country to sunny Los Angeles. I've learned a lot since relocating. The major roadways are considered freeways (and certainly not highways) and sunscreen is a must at all times of year. I've also had many professional experiences; I've worked for a digital nightlife magazine (a very-LA thing to say), an entertainment tech start-up, and a creative agency. Oh, and I also had a fun stint at Cold Stone! Navigating an unfamiliar coast, my career, and adulthood has proven to be interesting, and it comes with unique challenges. But I wouldn't trade it for the world. If obstacles build character, I already feel well-rounded, and I can't wait to become a full circle. |
